1 Quick Apply Part-time 48 minutes ago Full Job Description The Avon Old Farms Hotel is looking for an individual to become an integral part of our Food & Beverage Team.
Responsibilities:
Sets tables in assigned area (or checks to see that they have been set) correctly and uniformly, using:
clean, pressed linen (without rips, stains or tears); clean spotted silverware; clean china with no chips or cracks; clean, spotted glassware.
Properly clean and fill table complements (salt and pepper, sugar, breadbaskets, etc.
) Learns the menu for each function served and is able to explain the major ingredients and preparation methods for each item to be served.
Complete any assigned side work, such as refilling condiments, shaking and sorting linen, hanging/storing drapes, cleaning/storing serving equipment and/or props, etc.
Serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, to patrons Education &
Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
(Must be 18 years of age or older) Must be able to follow directions and get along well with others.
Flexibility with scheduling & availability to work evenings as well as weekends & holidays.
Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Able to bend, stretch and stand for extended periods of time.
The ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
